Early Years Practitioners

Hours of work: Full and part time positions available.

Rate of pay:

Level 2  – £20,781 – £21,424

Level 3 – £23,134 – £24,423

Due to current demand, Abbot’s Hill Nursery is seeking to recruit professional and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our committed team.

We are looking for hard-working team members who will bring creativity, humour and warmth to our nursery.

The successful candidate should possess a passion for child development and have a good working knowledge of the EYFS. You will also have excellent communication skills, a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Room Leader

Abbot’s Hill School is seeking a Nursery Room Leader, starting in October.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a high standard care and education for children in the setting.  Be an effective Key Person to lead and work as part of team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn and be a role model of practice within the nursery.

Kitchen Assistant, required immediately

Abbot’s Hill School is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for our Nursery to start as soon as possible.

If you are well organised, have a calm and patient manner and the ability to communicate well with young children, then this may be the position for you!

The successful candidate will be required to support the Nursery Cook with the preparation, serving and clearing down from meal times. This will include supporting the management of dietary requirements as well as liaising with other nursery staff regarding the children’s likes and dislikes and making changes to the menus as required.   The successful candidate will also prepare and serve a simply tea after the Nursery Cook has finished her shift.
