Hours and Fees

The Nursery opening hours are 7.30am – 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Nursery Fees

All prices are inclusive of snacks and meals, nappies, wipes, bed linen and specialist tuition.

Short day for Tiny Toes & Footsteps – £66 per day
Full day for Tiny Toes & Footsteps – £80 per day
Short day for Stepping Up – £74 per day
Full day for Stepping Up – £90 per day

A Term Time Only option is available in Stepping Up. Please contact the Nursery Administrator for details and associated fees, which are charged on a termly basis.

Funding for 3 and 4 year olds

Parents are able to claim free early education at Abbot’s Hill Nursery the term after their child turns 3 years old. We offer two options:

If your child attends Stepping Up all year round, your child will be entitled to what is known as a ‘stretched offer’ whereby they receive 11.4 hours of funding per week (up to a maximum of 2.28hrs per day they attend) stretched across 50 weeks per year until they leave the nursery.

For example, paying monthly (2021/2022) – 3 short days per week on stretched offer funding is £590.00, without funding is £875.00.

If your child attends Stepping Up on a Term Time only basis, your child will be entitled to 15 hours of funding per week (up to a maximum of 3 hours per day they attend) across 34 weeks of the year until they leave the nursery. For example, paying termly (2021/2022) – Term Time only 3 short days per week with funding – £1372.80, without funding is £2402.40.

Closure Dates

We are open 50 weeks per year, excluding Bank Holidays. Closure dates can be found below.

2022

  • Friday 23 December
  • Wednesday 28 December – Friday 30 December

2023

  • Friday 10 February
  • Tuesday 29 August – Thursday 31 August

The Nursery is closed for all Bank Holidays.
