Congratulations to the Abbotโs Hill Class of 2026, who have worked incredibly hard over the last couple of years and who today are celebrating their impressive GCSE achievements. More than a third of students achieved the top tier Grade 9 in at least one of their subjects and a solid 41% of grades achieved were Grade 9-7 - around double the national average.

It demonstrates the importance of having a clear focus, unwavering resilience and a strong work ethic. Students are moving on to a wide variety of Sixth Forms and colleges, undertaking a broad range of A levels and other qualifications with the most popular subjects being Psychology, Biology, History and English Literature.

As part of Enrichment Week, our Year 8 pupils enjoyed an exciting trip to London. They took in spectacular views of the capital from the London Eye before putting their teamwork, problem-solving and communication skills to the test at The Crystal Maze LIVE Experience.
It was a great day out, with plenty of challenges, laughs and opportunities to work together.

What a wonderful way to round off the school year! Our Senior School Commemoration Day was a celebration of achievement, talent and the many memorable moments that have made this year so special.

We were delighted to welcome our guest speaker, Musharaf Asghar, who shared his inspiring story of overcoming challenges and encouraged our pupils to believe in themselves, embrace resilience and never give up on their ambitions. We also enjoyed a beautiful performance from our choir and a brilliant snippet from this yearโs fantastic production of The Addams Family.

The presentation of cups, plates and certificates celebrated the many achievements of our pupils, while the passing of leadership roles to our new Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl marked an exciting moment for the year ahead. We also said a fond farewell to our Class of 2026, with each leaver receiving their very own Abbotโs Hill bear, a special keepsake to remind them that they will always be part of our community as they embark on their next adventures.
