The post holder will be responsible for teaching Years 7-11 (we do not, currently, have a 6th Form). Experience of teaching at A Level will be of benefit. We are a 4-16 school and so our teachers in the Senior school do work with teachers of English in the Prep school to ensure a seamless transition from Prep to Senior.

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our Sport department in September.

The successful candidate will be involved in teaching a wide range of sporting activities. Abbot’s Hill offers netball, lacrosse, football, swimming, tag rugby, dance, gymnastics, cricket, tennis, athletics, and cross country with additional sports as part of the co-curricular program.

Senior Teacher Mathematics

We are looking to appoint looking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a department who are committed to ensuring superb outcomes for all pupils. The successful candidate will have excellent qualifications and a Mathematics or Mathematics-related degree. The post holder will be responsible for teaching Years 7-11 (we do not, currently, have a 6th Form).

Second in Department, MFL

An outstanding new Second in Department and teacher of French and Spanish is required to support the effective delivery of a coherent, well-balanced academic programme throughout the School for pupils of all abilities. They will ensure that pupils’ learning is at the heart of the department; that every pupil is supported to achieve their fullest potential; and – alongside the Head of Department – provide effective support and management of staff to facilitate the fulfilment of each colleague’s professional potential.

Senior School Cover Supervisor. Required for March/April 2023

Part time – 2 – 4 days per week, 8am – 4.30pm

Closing date: 12 noon, 28 February 2023.

Abbot’s Hill School wish to appoint a highly competent and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor.

The Cover Supervisor will cover and supervise lessons as required.  They will support teaching in the absence of the class teacher by ensuring that pupils understand the instructions for work which has been left. They will manage behaviour and promote a positive working atmosphere within the classroom.
