Designated Safeguarding Lead & Attendance Officer

Required for the start of the Summer Term

Abbot’s Hill School are looking to appoint a DSL and Attendance Officer to take lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the whole school (including online safety) – Nursery to Year 11. They will take part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings and contribute to the assessment of children. The Designated Safeguarding Lead should act with reference to Annex B of ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (Sept 2019).

Our DSL & Attendance Officer will advise and support other members of staff on child welfare, safeguarding and child protection matters, and liaise with relevant agencies such as the local authority and police.

Head of Modern Foreign Languages

Required for September 2024

Abbot’s Hill School are looking to appoint an outstanding Head of Modern Foreign Languages to lead our languages programme.

This is the ideal opportunity for a well-qualified, inspirational teacher of Spanish to join a successful and lively department in its delivery of outstanding teaching and learning both through its curricular and co-curricular activities.  A second language (ideally French or German) is highly desirable to facilitate maximum timetable flexibility but Spanish must be the primary language.

Exams & Data Officer

Required for September 2024

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident and capable individual to the role of Exams & Data Officer. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, with experience in assessment and data management and someone who can work to a high level of accuracy. We need someone who will rigorously follow all the exam body procedures.

Evening Cleaner

Required ASAP

Abbot’s Hill School are looking for an evening cleaner to join the Housekeeping team.  Our Housekeeping team provide a high standard, daily cleaning service across our school buildings which include classrooms, offices, toilets and sports facilities

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 5pm to 8pm plus 8 extra cleaning days before the start of the Summer and Autumn terms.
