Enquiries and Registration

We are delighted that you are considering Abbot’s Hill School for your child. Our Admissions Team are on hand to support you through our admissions process.

The usual entry points to our school are:

Reception (4+)
Year 3 (7+)
Year 7 (11+)

We sometimes have occasional places in other year groups and are happy to receive an application for a prospective pupil at any stage. Some year groups have a waiting list.

Register for a Place

To register for a place, or if you have an enquiry about a place at Abbot’s Hill School, please complete the Registration or Enquiry Form by selecting the Abbot’s Hill Enquiries and Registration link below. To complete the Registration process, parents will need to pay a £100 non-returnable Registration Fee (payable by BACS).

Abbot’s Hill Enquiries and Registration

We will write to confirm receipt, and your child’s name will then be placed on the Entry List. A prospective pupil who is registered for the Prep School is automatically assigned to our Senior School registration, without a further fee.

The Offer of a Place

The offer of a place at the School is at the discretion of the Head of Abbot’s Hill who will take fully into consideration a child’s record at her previous school (where applicable), the recommendations of their Headteacher and the results of the entrance assessment. The offer of a place does not depend on the date when a child’s name was registered.

If your child is successful in the admission procedures for the Senior School and there is a vacancy, a place will be offered by letter. Places at Abbot’s Hill are offered only after assessment and interview. An Acceptance Form* will be sent to you and the place can be accepted by completing the Form and returning it to us with your Acceptance Deposit of £1,000. Scholarships are subject to some additional terms and conditions which are outlined in the Offer letter and School’s Terms and Conditions enclosed at offer.

* The Offer Letter and Acceptance Form give rise to a legally binding agreement which takes effect when the Acceptance Form and deposit are received by the School.
