Prefect’s Challenge launched for International Women’s Day theme ‘Choose to Challenge’.
The prefects have set a series of challenges for which the girls accrue points which will be combined for clan totals. The competition is open to all year groups and final submission for entries is 8 March, which is International Women’s Day, leaving pupils over 2 weeks to complete as many challenges as possible. As is the Abbot’s Hill way, staff are also getting involved!

The challenges are varied – ranging from daily home tasks such as changing a lightbulb or emptying the dishwasher to more complex activities like learning and remembering all the states in the USA, den building and origami. The challenges get harder as they move through Bronze to Silver to Gold.
Senior pupils may wish to listen to podcasts, write to their local care home or watch a film in a foreign language. There are plenty of activities for the younger pupils of Abbot’s Hill as well, such as litter picking or watching a David Attenborough documentary.
