Reviews
Good Schools Guide, reviewed November 2020
“We saw teachers, full of enthusiasm for their subject, delivering pacey lessons, helping each individual pupil achieve their very best. Dedication is not in doubt.”
The review captures the unique essence of Abbot’s Hill. In fact, we are thrilled with the way Abbot’s Hill is described. Our Head, Mrs Gorman commented ‘this insightful and glowing review is testament to the excellent, rounded education on offer at Abbot’s Hill. This is an extraordinary school where ambition is high, where pastoral care is exceptional and where learning is a lot of fun. The review says it all: this is life at Abbot’s Hill. Please do come and take a look – we have a lot to offer.’

Muddy Stilettos, reviewed February 2019
“The atmosphere in the school is happy and purposeful, yet relaxed and distinctly unpressurised.”
“Girls who will thrive in an all female environment and who are keen to join in with things and get involved. If you want to learn about leadership and be a role model or mentor for younger girls, you can do this when you’re 16 or even younger for some roles: Year 11 is the top of the tree. Anyone who values pastoral care and work life balance will do well here. Girls who will relish a new environment for A Levels/IB.”

ISI Inspection, January 2020
“Pupils are comfortable in challenging their own understanding and take responsibility for their own learning.”
“Pupils develop high levels of resilience, perseverance and teamwork through their committed engagement in the wide range of creative and performing arts available to them.”
