Part Time Teacher of English (0.6-0.8 FTE)

Abbot’s Hill School wish to appoint a highly competent and enthusiastic part time Teacher of English. As part of a dynamic and thriving department, we expect you to assist in the development of the teaching practice within the department: to enthuse, engage, motivate and inspire pupils.

The successful candidate will have:

  • An excellent track record of raising attainment and examination success at KS4
  • The ability and enthusiasm to motivate pupils in English lessons with a track record of outstanding teaching across all Key Stages
  • The ability to raise expectations and aspirations of pupils of all abilities
  • A desire to contribute to the extra-curricular life of this busy, friendly school
