Campus Development

In February 2015, we were delighted to announce that Dacorum Borough Council had approved our Campus Development proposals to provide new first class facilities for our Nursery and Prep School.  This new facility was opened in October 2015, and in January 2017 we announced that we would be moving forward with Phase 2 of the development.

The first phase of this programme was the relocation and expansion of the Nursery, with the creation of an all-year-round Nursery for up to 60 girls and boys, aged from 6 months to 4 years. The new Nursery buildings were completed and opened in October 2015.  The state of the art facilities provide an excellent pre-school education which feeds seamlessly into the Prep School and reflects the ethos of the school.

The principle of the new Nursery building is to provide an open, friendly environment for the children and staff. It has been arranged into dedicated areas, each customised to different ages and needs. All the main areas have direct access to external play areas, including a covered play area.

Phase 2 has created four new classrooms for the Prep School, together with a large room for Art and DT and inspiring outdoor learning areas.  The aim is to move pupils from temporary accommodation which had been required due to the growth in school numbers. The new block was completed in September 2018.

Future plans involve the creation of a new purpose-built Infant Block.
