Mrs Claire Worrell BA (Hons), PGCE (Cantab)

Claire Worrell began her teaching career after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a BA in Geography. She taught both physical and human geography to senior students at an independent girls’ school in North London and later decided to return to university to study for a P.G.C.E. in primary education at the University of Cambridge. Her teaching roles to date span every key stage from EYFS to Year 13 and her positions of responsibility include Head of Geography, Director of Music and Director of Studies. Claire is passionate about helping children to realise their potential and about creating opportunities that evoke energy, curiosity and a sense of discovery and achievement in every individual. Claire is the Deputy Head of Prep (Curriculum) and she is proud to be part of the dedicated team of staff at Abbot’s Hill School.
