Prep Trips
At Abbot’s Hill, we know that some of the most powerful learning happens beyond the classroom. School trips spark curiosity, strengthen understanding and create the kind of joyful memories children treasure for years. Whether it’s seeing a historic artefact for the first time or exploring a new environment with friends, trips help bring learning vividly to life.
Pupils in the Prep School at Abbot’s Hill enjoy a rich programme of educational visits designed to broaden horizons and deepen subject knowledge. From going back in time at Windsor Castle or Hampton Court, to discovering the magic of live theatre or the exploring the natural world at Kew Gardens, each experience adds a new dimension to their learning.
Residential trips take place from Year 4, providing opportunities to develop essential life skills such as teamwork, independence and resilience. These adventures encourage pupils to step outside their comfort zone, build confidence and embrace new challenges.
At Abbots Hill, every trip is an opportunity — to learn, to grow and to see the world through fresh eyes.
