England does the Daily Mile

The Daily Mile hosted their first national event day in schools and across social media, aiming to get 1 million children moving across the country.

“In light of the events in the past year, children’s mental health, and its relation to physical activity, is more important than ever.”, The Daily Mile

What better way was there to raise awareness for better mental health than a few laps of our grounds with the sun shining! Well done everyone to all in the Prep School who took part.

Abbot’s Hill Prep School is delighted to introduce our new programme of Parent Partnership Workshops.

Led by Victoria Lopez Bernal, Deputy Head (Prep), an experienced educator with a strong background in supporting children`s wellbeing, emotional development and Early Years learning, these sessions offer practical advice and support on key areas such as early literacy, numeracy, school readiness, and building confidence and resilience.

Designed to support you at every stage of your child’s early education journey, these workshops provide helpful insights, simple strategies, and the opportunity to ask questions in a friendly, supportive environment.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Abbot’s Hill pupils Shreya, Naina & Vidya, who took part in Swimathon UK 2026.

Competing as a relay team, they completed an amazing 5km swim in just 1 hour 45 minutes, each swimming at least 67 lengths of a 25m pool without breaks.

Even more impressively, they raised £730 (exceeding their £500 target!) for two incredible causes: Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie 💙

All three pupils are valued members of our school swimming community and continue to pursue their passion through their involvement in swimming both in and out of school.
