Parent Partnership Events
Abbot’s Hill Prep School staff are delighted to introduce our programme of parent workshops, designed to support you at every stage of your child’s early education journey.
Led by our experienced teaching staff, these sessions offer a welcoming and informative space to explore key topics such as developing early literacy and numeracy skills, preparing your child for school, and nurturing confidence and resilience. Rooted in our day-to-day classroom experience, each workshop combines practical guidance with the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and gain reassurance.
Whether your child is just beginning their school journey or you are looking for ways to further support their learning at home, these sessions are designed to equip you with helpful insights and simple, effective strategies.
We look forward to welcoming you and working together to give your child the very best start.

In the early years of primary education, children build the essential foundations for reading, writing, and mathematical understanding. This session will explore how these skills are developed in the classroom and how they can be supported at home in simple, engaging ways. With practical ideas and clear guidance, we aim to help you feel confident in nurturing your child’s growing independence, curiosity, and love of learning.
This session will be led by Victoria Lopez Bernal and Christopher Stephenson, Abbot’s Hill Assistant Head (Prep)
