National Techognition Day

Today we celebrate National Techognition Day, and we would like to take a moment to recognise and thank our incredible Science Technicians.

Behind every successful science lesson is a technician who has carefully prepared equipment, organised materials, and ensured everything is ready for our students to explore, experiment and discover.

From setting up practical experiments and maintaining laboratory equipment, to preparing chemicals safely, managing resources and supporting teachers and students during investigations, their work is essential to the success of our Science Department.

Their expertise, dedication and attention to detail help bring science to life in our classrooms every day. They play a vital role in inspiring curiosity, supporting hands-on learning and making sure our laboratories are safe, organised and ready for discovery.

Thank you for everything you do for our school community – your hard work behind the scenes makes a huge difference to our students’ learning every single day.
