Abbot’s Hill Nursery Pupil 001

Abbot’s Hill student Millie holds a very special place in our history as the first pupil to join Abbot’s Hill School nursery, proudly carrying registration number 001. From her first day in Nursery to now in Year 7, her journey reflects the continuity and community that sit at the heart of our school.

Alongside her academic progress, Millie is a member of the Year 7 swim squad. Competing at Wycombe Abbey, she set a new league record in the Junior 50m Breaststroke! She is also competing in the Hertfordshire County Championships with her external swimming club.

Her story highlights what it means to be an all through school, with children able to begin their learning in Nursery and progress confidently through each stage. It has also been a family journey, with her younger sister Sophie joining the Nursery at nine months old and now thriving in Year 5.

These photos capture just how far she has come. Millie has always felt a strong connection to Abbot’s Hill and is proud to be continuing her education here through to Year 11.

We are very proud of all that Millie has achieved so far and look forward to seeing the next stages of her journey.
