The Addams Family
Last week’s performances of The Addams Family were genuinely unforgettable. The final night ended with a standing ovation, the whole theatre on its feet, and audience members leaving asking whether the show was heading to the West End!
I couldn’t be prouder of our students. Their commitment to rehearsals, care for every detail of the direction and choreography, and the way they supported one another throughout the process was outstanding. This was a demanding production, but they met every challenge with resilience, focus and creativity – and completely rose to the occasion. Together, they created something truly magical.
More than the applause, this production gave them memories that will last a lifetime: the nerves before the curtain went up, the laughter backstage, the trust built during rehearsals, and the shared pride of taking that final bow to a standing audience. These are the moments that shape a school journey, and this cast and crew embraced every one of them.
A real celebration of teamwork, trust and talent, and a powerful reminder of what young performers can achieve when they are challenged, supported and believed in.
