Years 7-11 Ski Trip

Wednesday 22 May 2019

Over the Easter holidays, fifty pupils and five teachers embarked on a week-long trip to Zillerege, Austria.

After a very early start to our journey, we arrived at our hotel and briefly unpacked, ready to ski the next day. Over the next few days, we all enjoyed the hundreds of slopes that we skied down! We also enjoyed our lovely meals, from pancakes to schnitzel and chips! Many people made great improvements to their skiing skills. Other small mistakes were easily laughed at through ‘The Wally Award’.

The skiing was fantastic fun but we also learnt a great amount and made enormous improvements. We were able to experience a wide variety of slopes with different colours and difficulty. Not only did we have a lot of fun skiing, but after a tiring long day on the mountain, we had a great time participating in a variety of evening activities together!
