On Tuesday 29 January, a team of Year 9 pupils attended a Physics Partners workshop at St Albans Girls’ School. The day aimed to encourage girls into physics.
The day started with a series of activities that urged girls to make mistakes and work outside of their comfort zones. The training was delivered by Year 12 pupils which was cascaded to them from a Physics Partners trainer.
All of the activities were linked to physics but required the pupils to make mistakes and try again -two of the most important attributes to making a good scientist!
The girls who attended the training will now share this with our own Prep School pupils.
