On Wednesday 13 May, Year 7 enjoyed a special year meeting with a virtual visit to Warwick Castle.
Every year, Year 7 enjoy a trip to the castle, encouraging the girls and teachers to dress up in medieval costumes. We did not want the girls to miss out on the fun this year, so Miss Aragon encouraged the year group to dress up for the day. She then took the group on a virtual tour of the castle during their year group meeting.
Year 7 responded magnificently to the challenge, with dragons, princesses, peasants and knights joining in the fun! Firstly, they climbed the towers and had a wonderful view of the castle grounds and surrounding Warwickshire countryside.
They then enjoyed a short presentation of the birds of prey show, and another favourite – the firing of the mighty Warwick Castle trebuchet. Their visit ended with a quick tour of some of the other areas of the castle.
Thank you to Miss Aragon for giving us such a lovely tour of Warwick Castle, and well done to all of Year 7 – we thought you all looked amazing!
