Year 6 visit the Houses of Parliament

Tuesday 21 November 2017

On Monday 13 November, Year 6 went to the Houses of Parliament. The girls enjoyed a tour of the House of Lords and the House of Commons.

The pupils were given an introduction as to how our country functions. They took part in a mock vote and followed the process that MPs do when they are casting their votes in Parliament. The girls were also lucky enough to meet Mike Penning, the local Conservative MP for Hemel Hempstead during their day out.
