On Monday 18 March, Abbot’s Hill welcomed 26 schools for a Year 5 Maths Challenge run by DCBeagle. Pupils formed teams of two and rotated around a variety of problem solving activities, mental arithmetic questions and puzzles. Well done to our six Year 5 pupils who took part.
The Year 6 Maths Ambassadors and Year 9 pupils acted as markers and helped the day run smoothly. Competition was strong throughout the afternoon! All of the children were engaged and enjoyed the variety of activities.
Thank you to DCBeagle for a fun and challenging afternoon.
