Year 4 visit St Albans Education Centre
Monday 23 January 2017

On Thursday 19 January, Year 4 enjoyed a day out at the Education Centre in St Albans.
The girls took part in a food workshop where they made nibbles that would have been eaten in the Roman times. They then learnt all about Alban, a courageous character who sacrificed his life for a Christian.
In the afternoon, the girls took part in a blanket dig where they looked at different artefacts that would have been found during different periods including the Victorian era, Roman times and the Stone Age.
The girls had a busy and very interesting day and loved learning even more about the Romans.
