On Tuesday 8 October, Year 3 and 6 thoroughly enjoyed their RS workshops looking at the religions that they have been studying in class.
Year 3 were enthralled by the beautiful and intriguing popular love story of Diwali delivered through drama, costumes and craft. The girls enjoyed acting out the story of Rama and Sita and the Ramayana, as well as creating beautiful artwork to celebrate Diwali.
Year 6 carefully dissected the five pillars of Islam, reflecting on the commitment Muslims make and how they show their dedication to the faith every single day. The girls had plenty of fun with costumes and artefacts in this engrossing workshop.
Thank you to Cathy Lightowler from REonDemand for delivering these engaging workshops.
