On Tuesday 28 February, Year 2 had some special visitors. Mrs Darlington, a Classroom Assistant at Abbot’s Hill, brought her daughter Viki and her granddaughter Kyra in to School. They visited the class so that they could discuss how people change and grow as they get older.
The girls talked about the different generations and they compared what they could do that Kyra, who is nearly two years old, could not do yet.
The class were also able to learn some sign language from their visitors. Viki has been teaching sign language to Kyra to help her with communication, for example for drink, eat, friend, please and thank you.
