World Book Day

Tuesday 7 March 2017

On Thursday 2 March, World Book Day was celebrated across the globe. World Book Day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly, it is a celebration of reading. It is the biggest celebration of its kind, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world.

As part of this fantastic day, the Prep School took part in many activities including a whole school assembly, where Class 3AC performed a song ‘Gotta Keep Reading’ and the Year 6 girls presented their book reviews. The girls also took part in sharing books from home with their classmates, a book swap and a Library storytelling session. Abbot’s Hill Nursery had lots of fun dressing up as their favourite characters!
