On Tuesday 2 July, the annual Prep and Senior Inter-Clan Swimming Galas took place at Abbot’s Hill.
The Seniors began the day with the girls taking part in a variety events including freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke, relays and an obstacle race. A number of records were broken in the events and all of the competitors worked hard to earn points for their clans! Well done to Katy (Year 8) who was awarded Outstanding Junior Swim Performance and to Kiera (Year 10) for the Outstanding Senior Swim Performance on the day.
The Prep School races took place in the afternoon with girls from Years 3-6 competing for their clan. The Gala always brings out great team work amongst the three clans, with their classmates cheering from the side lines. All of the girls tried their hardest in their events with lots of very close finishes to the races!

Year 4 Butterfly: Sabina 1 length in 16.06
Year 4 Freestyle: Sabina 2 lengths in 30.41
Year 6 Butterfly: Charlotte P 1 length in 14.26
Year 6 Medley Relay – New event – Cameron in 1.09.28
Congratulations to Macneil who were the overall winners in the Prep School and Cameron who were the overall winners in the Senior School.
