During the Easter holidays, twenty Year 11 Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award participants completed both their practice and qualifying expeditions.
The practice took place in the South Downs and after a three week break, they were off again, this time to the North Wessex Downs.
The girls were incredibly fortunate to have excellent weather for both expeditions and their instructors were really impressed with their high levels of competence in navigation and camp craft.
Despite the huge number of blisters and plenty of aches and pains, they supported each other brilliantly!
Morale was high and the girls were determined to reach the finish line. They should all be very proud of such a fantastic achievement.
