Senior School Knitting Club

Tuesday 17 January 2017

At Abbot’s Hill, we provide a wide-range of extra-curricular opportunities for pupils to participate in including sporting, artistic, science and technology activities.

The Senior School Knitting Club is increasingly popular during the winter months, with a variety of skills being taught and perfected.

Well done to Charlotte who has learnt how to cast on, knit, and cast off. Sarah has started her first piece of rib stitch, which is our second level skill for the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Molly tried out using loopy wool to make her very own scarf, whilst Leila has finished her first set of hand warmers using two colours. Hannah produced a little cuddly mouse!

Mrs Duffin’s stripy scarf is making progress and everyone loves Mrs Smith’s new wool!

Well done to the girls for learning and developing their skills.
