On Tuesday 6 June, pupils from Reception to Year 6 took part in an exciting puzzle challenge day delivered by The Happy Puzzle Company.
In small teams, the girls encountered a variety of challenges and needed to use their learning muscles in order to find solutions to the puzzles. They developed their reciprocity learning muscle as they found that working collaboratively, by putting their own skills to better use as part of a team, meant they could conquer the puzzle.
At times, the girls found the puzzles too difficult, but they used their resilience learning muscle and persevered to overcome difficulties by approaching problems from a different perspective.
The pupils were genuinely challenged, but they discovered that every puzzle can be solved by using the right strategies and effective teamwork.
All of the girls had a great time solving the puzzles, especially putting the pesky penguins on the iceberg so that they don’t fall in the sea!
