Chinese New Year

Tuesday 5 February marked the Chinese New Year, the festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional Chinese calendar.

To celebrate this, our Catering Team prepared a delicious Chinese buffet which was enjoyed by pupils and staff.

The buffet included:

  • Sweet and Sour Chicken
  • Braised Chinese Beef with Pak Choi
  • Stir Fry Vegan Quorn with Ginger and Spring Onion
  • Stir Fry Mixed Vegetables
  • Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings
  • Duck or Vegetable Spring Rolls
  • Steamed Rice
  • Chow Mein Noodles
  • Apple and Banana Fritters with Butterscotch Sauce
  • Ice Cream
