On Saturday 6 May, Abbot’s Hill hosted the first Abbot’s Hill Old Girls’ Association (AHOGA) Afternoon Tea event.
Old Girls from all eras came together to catch up and share stories from their time at Abbot’s Hill. As well as an enjoyable Afternoon Tea, guests also enjoyed wandering around the grounds to see the changes and developments that the school has gone through over the years.
Thank you to Mrs Rance and her team for providing the delicious refreshments, and thank you to the staff and Old Girls’ who helped to make it such a special occasion.
Some feedback from the Old Girls:
“Thank you so much for such a splendid afternoon. It was my first visit since I left in 1973 and it brought back so many memories. It was also amazing to see all the very positive changes that have been brought about.
Thank you for your kind generosity in providing such a splendid tea which was one of the best Afternoon Teas I have had in ages. I so enjoyed meeting ladies with whom I had overlapped and exchanging stories. It was a truly special day.”
“We had a lovely day, thank you for organising and for providing such delicious treats!”
“Thank you so much for having us, it was really kind to let us walk through the old classrooms and grounds. We were glad to see the new Theatre.”
