Abbot’s Hill supports ‘Contain-A-School’ programme
Wednesday 31 August 2016
On Tuesday 28 June, the Abbot’s Hill School bus was loaded up with old uniform and taken to the Fonthill Foundation by Mr Knight, our School Minibus Driver.
Fonthill Foundation are a Sussex based education charity. Their Contain-A-School Programme recycles unwanted school and office equipment from the UK to schools in Africa where it is desperately needed.
Once the container has been unloaded, the charity work with the school and the local community to transform the container into a fantastic additional learning space for the school, such as a library, a computer room or early years learning centre.
