Abbot’s Hill pupils take on Little Inventor Challenges

The Year 5 – 6 Science and Tech Club have been taking part in a series of Little Inventor activities.
Using recycled materials the pupils completed lots of tasks, using their creativity and science thinking hats! You can see some of the challenges here.
Elena and Caitlin invented a ‘Horse that does your chores’, complete with a sweeping tail
Erin created a friendly faced robot
Tasked with creating a toy suitable for a small child, Emilia came up with a toy with lots of buttons and things to press, turn and twist
Marphary made a colourful box on wheels
Annabel and Eva worked together to create a lift to help Annabel’s dog get upstairs, they came up with a chair lift with a pulley system
