Abbot’s Hill pupils take on Little Inventor Challenges

The Year 5 – 6 Science and Tech Club have been taking part in a series of Little Inventor activities.

Using recycled materials the pupils completed lots of tasks, using their creativity and science thinking hats! You can see some of the challenges here.

  • Elena and Caitlin invented a ‘Horse that does your chores’, complete with a sweeping tail
  • Erin created a friendly faced robot
  • Tasked with creating a toy suitable for a small child, Emilia came up with a toy with lots of buttons and things to press, turn and twist
  • Marphary made a colourful box on wheels
  • Annabel and Eva worked together to create a lift to help Annabel’s dog get upstairs, they came up with a chair lift with a pulley system
