Year 5 recently headed back time on a History trip to Hampton Court Palace. We spoke to Year 5 pupil, Bryony, about their day.
Tudor times came to life for Year 5 with a fascinating visit to Hampton Court Palace.
We were excited to explore the many different rooms, as well as the Chapel Royal with its magnificent ceiling. We also took a trip through the Haunted Gallery, which is thought to be where Henry’s wife came screaming down before her execution!
We took part in a kitchen workshop, where we learned all about Tudor food and discovered that it was very different to our diet today.
Thank you so much, teachers, for organising this trip – we had a lot of fun.
