Year 10 and 11 GCSE Art & Design trip
On Thursday 7 March GCSE Art & Design students went on a gallery safari to London. We visited the Photographers' Gallery, the Hayward Gallery & the Barbican Centre.

French Exchange trip to Chambéry

Girls from Year 9 and Year 10 spent a week honing their French language skills and learning more about French culture on our annual exchange with the Collège Notre Dame du Rocher in Chambéry. |
Year 6 trip to the Houses of Parliament

Year 6 went to the Houses of Parliament on 26 November. The day included a guided tour of the building and an interview with Mike Penning, the MP for Hemel Hempstead. We arrived at 10:30 am and, after security checks, went straight to Westminster Hall, which is the oldest part of the building, built in about 1097. The rest of the building was burnt down and rebuilt in 1834. Westminster Hall is a cold, stone building with a magnificent wooden ceiling. |

Salter's Chemistry Camp 2012

This Summer Leah and Cordelia, Year 11 spent a few days at the University of Cambridge after winning a place on the Salters' Chemistry camp. The aim of the Camps is to enable young people to explore the fun of chemistry and help motivate them into developing a long term interest in the subject and its applications in modern life. Chamber Choir Tour to Holland 2012

No time to rest for the Chamber Choir who headed off to Holland the day after Commemoration for a concert tour. The choir performed a varied repertoire which included popular hits, sacred and classical pieces at concerts at the Oud Katholieke Kathedrale Kerk van Ste Gertrudis in Utrecht and the Nicolaas & Antonius Kerk in Monnickendam, just outside Amsterdam. |
Year 10 trip to Madrid 2012

After an eventful journey Year 10 Spanish students arrived in Madrid on Saturday 23 June. After checking in at our hotel we walked to La Puerta del Sol, the city centre, and were given the opportunity to get some lunch and buy some souvenirs. In the space of a few hours we were soon feeling the blazing Spanish heat which hugely contrasted with the miserable British weather. |

Year 6 are enjoying their week away and making the most of every opportunity. Having visited the Pegasus Bridge and 360 cinema at Arromanches yesterday their first stop this morning was to visit Batterie de Longues. |
