Curriculum

In the Senior School, girls are motivated to think for themselves, to take increasing responsibility for their learning, engage with new ideas and express themselves with confidence. Learning takes place in genuinely small classes in which individual support is given where needed and unique strengths are recognised and developed.

We promote collaborative and practical learning, nurturing the unique talents of each pupil, giving them the chance to develop their potential to the full, within a happy and caring environment and we take pride in developing ambitious, bright and confident young people. We set our pupils challenging targets which they embrace readily and we keep a close eye on each pupil’s academic progress to ensure that they stay on track. Parents are welcome at school any time to discuss their daughter’s progress.

A broad range of options at GCSE, with a timetable built around pupils’ choices, and a structured approach to Careers Education means that pupils can make informed choices for GCSE, Sixth Form and beyond.
