The Director’s Note: The Sound of Music is one of those musicals that is engrained in popular psyche. The original 1965 film with Julie Andrews as Maria has stood the test of time like no other; I hope our all female version will not disappoint.

St Nick's Nativity News

St Nick's Nativity News tells the story of a school preparing for their nativity production. Year 6 narrated as we were told the story, largely through song –often in four parts. The girls, also, used tea towels to represent different characters as the story unfolded. |
Primary Maths Challenge

In November 28 girls in Year 5 and Year 6 entered the Primary Maths Challenge run by the Mathematical Association for primary school children across the country. |
Year 7 and 8 Drama Club Workshop
On the 25 November Year 7 and 8 Drama Club put on a performance for all family and friends to watch. The evening started off with a warm up; using all the different acting techniques the girls have learnt in Drama Club.

Origami Club

Origami club have been learning the various folds involved in creating mini ‘works of art!' They can now competently make boats, hearts, pencils and animal puppets. They are keen to move on to bigger and better so watch this space…! |

School Productions 2008-2009
Our major school production this year, with over 100 girls involved, was Thoroughly Modern Millie. Year 7 girls set the scene the moment you walked in the door and we were whisked away to a New York in the 20s with flappers, tapping typists, china men, a laundry and the evil Mrs Meers. The stunning performance was supported by a large number working behind the scenes.
