Nursery & Reception
The first steps that a child makes into the world of learning in school are crucial to their development and ability to realise their potential in later years. At St Nicholas House we place great importance on these early days, seeking to provide a learning environment which offers the individual child a very positive beginning. The Foundation Stage has a dedicated space within school, giving children the opportunity to learn both inside and out as well as through adult led activities and through structured and free play.
Our First Day In Reception
It was wonderful to welcome the children back and particularly to meet Bea who was joining us for the first time.
We started the morning with table activities. After taking the register we spent a very pleasant time cutting, sticking and making shapes.
