On Wednesday 8 November, Year 5 were joined by 90 pupils from Nash Mills and Abbots Langley Primary Schools for a day of performing arts workshops based on the musical ‘Mulan’.
The pupils were mixed into 5 groups for the day. They rotated between five workshops including choreography and dance, music, drama and art. Each pupil had the chance to take home their own Chinese lantern.
The day culminated in a collaborative finale in the Theatre where all of the different groups performed a scene from Mulan.
The focus of the day was to work collaboratively through the performing arts. This gave each child the opportunity to experience dance, music and drama.
Thank you to all of the pupils and staff who made the day a great success!
