Pupils organised a wealth of activities for last week's Girls Go Green Week – a nationwide initiative set up by the Girls' Schools Association to promote awareness of ‘green' issues, whilst fundraising at the same time. |

A new Chairperson is appointed

AHS celebrates the success of the Glitter Ball

We were thrilled to present the Collett School with a cheque for £6,200.75 this morning during assembly. The money was raised through a themed mufti day across school on Friday 1 July and the Glitter Ball arranged by a team of parents. |
Year 9 visit the battlefields of Ypres

On Friday 30 September, Year 9 went on a trip to Belgium. Despite having to wake up very early, we were very excited. When we arrived we were shocked at the amount of headstones in the first cemetery; not only were there British headstones but also headstones from different nationalities including Chinese and French. |

Friday morning's assembly in St Nick's was particularly busy – we appointed Clan Captains, Prefects, School Council Representatives and voted for the Chair of the School Council! Mrs Lewis presented the Clan Captains with the badges and welcomed them into their role. |

The Lego Workshop

The Lego Workshop was a great fun, team-building and exciting experience. I enjoyed being very creative with something I thought I had grown out of using – Lego. I worked with people I wouldn't normally call my ‘friends' but I got on with them really well. I liked our lighthouse, hotel and swimming pool, our house with a garden, lake, car park, railway, bridge and road. |
