On Tuesday afternoon, Year 2AB had a taste of what food in a rural Zambian village might be like….literally!
Having learned that children usually have just two meals a day, the girls were presented with nshima, the staple diet of Zambia, a little fish (sardines) and greens (actually spinach).

The majority of the girls tried the nshima and ‘relish' as it is known and one or two even professed to enjoy it! Whether they would like it for every meal remains to be seen.
